About The Position

Economy Transportation and Logistics is hiring experienced Regional Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We haul a variety of loads including tankers, ISO containers, flatbeds, and dry vans. The primary routes are from Midland, TX to various parts of West Texas (Andrews, Big Spring, Odessa, TX) and into oil wells and facilities in New Mexico. Occasional routes may include Golden Crescent / Port Lavaca, Houston, Florida, and Arizona. The company follows the work wherever it goes. Drivers will be operating sleeper trucks and hauling various trailer types. Pay is weekly via direct deposit as a W2 employee. The company offers higher pay rates with overtime, retention bonuses, orientation pay, and paid vacation that accrues from day one.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Active TEXAS Commercial Driver License with Hazmat Endorsement Required
  • 2 years of verifiable oilfield tractor/trailer or OTR experience
  • Experience operating a 10-speed manual transmission
  • Recent driving experience (within the last 12 months)
  • Valid and current DOT Medical Examiner's certification

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to train on ISO and Tanker trailers (hands-on, on-the-job training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Hauling a variety of loads including tankers, ISO containers, flatbeds, and dry vans.
  • Driving from Midland, TX to various parts of West Texas and into oil wells and facilities in New Mexico.
  • Occasional routes to Golden Crescent / Port Lavaca, Houston, Florida, and Arizona.
  • Manual load/unload and load securement and / or tarping.
  • Offloading with hoses per work order requests.
