About The Position

All Around Children is seeking an experienced Regional Childcare Center Director to oversee multiple centers and lead a team of dedicated early learning professionals across the Greater Cleveland area. This pivotal role reports directly to the executive leadership team and is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, developing leaders, and advancing the organization’s mission of providing high-quality education and family engagement. The Regional Director will provide strategic and operational oversight for a portfolio of early childhood centers, balancing leadership development, business performance, and community connection. The ideal candidate is both a coach and a problem-solver, someone who takes initiative, identifies opportunities for improvement, and inspires others to perform at their best. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, business insight, and a commitment to building systems that support consistent quality and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in early childhood education, education management, or multi-site operations.
  • Proven success in coaching and developing leaders, managing budgets, and maintaining compliance in a regulated setting.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Greater Cleveland region.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams and routines across multiple locations while maintaining high standards of safety and care.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Center Directors and leadership teams to achieve operational and educational excellence.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, strengthen systems, and drive organizational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations across assigned locations.
  • Monitor enrollment, staffing ratios, and budget performance to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute company-wide initiatives, training programs, and culture priorities.
  • Analyze performance data to create actionable plans for improvement and long-term sustainability.
  • Ability to pilot good ideas, measure results, and scale what works to all centers, improving family experience, staffing, and classroom outcomes.
  • Ability to plan and execute growth with staffing pipelines and smooth openings for new sites, followed by hands on stabilization.
  • Lead launch readiness and post launch stabilization for new sites with clear success metrics.
