About The Position

We are partnering with a mission-driven global network of K–12 schools dedicated to delivering high-quality, student-centered education across diverse communities. This organization is focused on long-term sustainability, responsible growth, and operational excellence in service of students, families, and educators. The Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the financial strength and scalability of the network, supporting schools as they grow, innovate, and fulfill their educational mission. The Regional CFO will oversee financial strategy and operations for a portfolio of schools across the United States. This leader will balance strong fiscal discipline with a deep understanding of school operations, ensuring resources are aligned to support academic outcomes and organizational impact. This role is remote, with frequent travel to school locations within the U.S.

Requirements

  • Mandatory experience in K–12 school operations (private, international, or education networks)
  • Strong accounting background with senior-level financial leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success managing finances for multi-site and/or international organizations
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the U.S.
  • Must be located in the United States
  • Must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership aligned with the organization’s mission and long-term educational goals
  • Oversee regional accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and applicable international financial, regulatory, and audit requirements
  • Partner closely with school leaders and central office teams to support day-to-day operations and long-range planning
  • Manage financial performance across multiple schools within a broader international network
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls, systems, and policies
  • Support school growth initiatives, expansions, and new campus launches
  • Present clear, data-driven financial insights to executive leadership and governance bodies

Benefits
