About The Position
PrimeSource Building Products is seeking a skilled Regional CDL Class A Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods to customer locations, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices
- Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local and/or regional routes
- Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers
- Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load and unload materials as required
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
- Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require
