About The Position
This position is for Regional CDL-A Drivers with a Hazmat endorsement. The driving lanes cover Georgia, Alabama, Southern South Carolina, and Florida. Drivers can expect to cover 1,800 – 2,000 miles per week, with a pay range of $1,300.00 to $1,400.00, which translates to $0.48 per mile. The work week runs from Tuesday to Saturday, with daily shifts starting between 01:00 and 06:00 and lasting 8-13 hours. Drivers will have home time on Sunday and Monday every week. The role requires 1-2 layovers per week.
Requirements
- One year of trailer tractor driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to drive at night
- Minimum 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record
- Residency within 50 miles of the city
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years
- Drug-free status (SAP candidates are NOT accepted)
Responsibilities
- Drive regional routes in GA, AL, Southern SC, FL
- Manage 1-2 layovers per week
