About The Position

Harrington is seeking a Regional Buyer to support its Florida locations and ensure inventory is aligned with business needs. The role partners with Purchasing, Operations, Demand Planning, branch teams, and suppliers to manage replenishment, monitor inventory, and address supply challenges before they affect customers. The Buyer manages replenishment and stock purchase orders for assigned product lines, monitors supplier orders and deliveries, and works to improve purchasing, product availability, service levels, and cost.

Requirements

1–2 years of purchasing, buying, inventory, or supply chain experience.
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across several locations.
Strong communication skills and ability to build productive supplier and internal relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems.

Responsibilities

Manage replenishment and stock purchase orders for assigned product lines.
Review inventory levels and identify opportunities to transfer stock between locations.
Partner with Demand Planning to review Min/Max levels and purchasing forecasts.
Monitor open purchase orders, supplier lead times, and delivery dates; expedite orders when needed.
Help identify potential stock additions and reductions, excess inventory, and supply risks.
Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
Support vendor-managed and consigned inventory programs.
Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory availability, service levels, and cost.
