About The Position

Responsible for all sales activities in the assigned territory, including achieving assigned sales goals, successfully launching new products, providing excellent customer service, GPO contract management, and prime vendor management. This role also involves administrative duties such as maintaining sfNet with pharmacy contacts and current information about Sagent business in each account. The role has a base salary, earns quarterly commissions based on performance, and includes a monthly car allowance. Success is measured by the attainment of sales quotas, completion of assigned projects, and operating within budget parameters.

Requirements

  • Develop and manage a territory selling injectable pharmaceuticals to hospital, alternate site, and other continuum of care end users
  • Competence with Microsoft Office tools required
  • Successful applicant must pass a thorough background check
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Minimum 50% travel required
  • Must reside in the territory assigned

  • 2+ years of generic injectable sales experience preferred
  • Comparable experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales
  • Demonstrated success in previous sales career
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person calls to targeted accounts (70% of time)
  • Prepare and plan for calls (10% of time)
  • Analyze territory through Sagent SFA systems and perform administrative duties (10% of time)
  • Communicate with targeted accounts via phone, email, association formal meetings, and other methods (10% of time)
