About The Position

Upway is building the world's leading marketplace for refurbished e-bikes, aiming to make electric mobility accessible to everyone through quality, affordability, and sustainability. Germany is their core market, and they are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to expand their sourcing and sales efforts. The role involves unlocking new growth opportunities with retailers, leasing providers, fleets, and more. The Graduate Regional Business Development Manager will join the B2B team to scale the retailer network across the Stuttgart region. This field-based role (4 days a week) is crucial for Upway's growth, focusing on securing high-quality e-bikes for refurbishment and encouraging clients to use the trade-in solution. The manager will engage with independent bike shop owners and regional retail chain management to acquire new partners, onboard them, ensure they become active users of the Upway trade-in tool, and secure high-quality e-bikes through trade-ins, demo bikes, and excess stock.

Requirements

  • A strong interest in B2B Sales.
  • Hunter Mindset: Not afraid to push open doors, enjoys closing new deals, and persistent.
  • Willingness to travel 80% of the time within your region to strengthen partner relationships.
  • Ability to use data to prioritize targets and optimize routes.
  • Proven track record of securing favorable terms through strong negotiation skills.
  • A genuine passion for bikes.
  • Native level in German.
  • Professional proficiency in English (for internal reporting and communication).

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for a major bicycle region in your area, managing all business relationships end-to-end.
  • Identify, prospect and onboard independent bike shops and regional chains in your territory, turning them into active partners who use Upway’s trade-in tool daily.
  • Identify and purchase excess stock from partners to expand Upway's product offering.
  • Be an available and reliable stakeholder, comfortable discussing technical specs and negotiating contracts.
  • Secure the most favorable purchasing conditions for Upway through effective and strategic negotiations.
  • Leverage your network of existing trusted partners to support the deployment of new services as Upway develops its B2B ecosystem (including pickup, drop-off, maintenance, B2B sales…).
