Regional Behavioral Health Technician
About The Position
Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in their welcoming outpatient centers across the NC region. This full-time position involves working Tuesday-Saturday, with varying 8-hour shifts scheduled between operating hours of 7am-7pm (Monday-Friday) and 8:30am-4:30pm on Saturday. The role requires extensive regional travel to cover centers in Cary, Chapel Hill, Fayetteville, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem as needed. It offers an opportunity to grow skills, receive specialized training, and truly connect with patients, directly contributing to improving lives through innovative treatments for depression.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, an Associate's Degree, or equivalent clinical certification, combined with significant relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to all centers throughout the region
- Reliable personal transportation capable of facilitating movement to and between sites as operational needs dictate
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field
- At least the equivalent of one year of healthcare work or internship experience
- Proficiency in AdvancedMD and SalesForce EHR systems
Responsibilities
- Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines
- Meticulously monitor patient responses
- Administer and record psychiatric rating scales
- Proactively address patient discomfort
- Deliver empathetic and supportive care
- Maintain accurate EHR
- Manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures
- Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed
- Travel to all centers throughout the region to provide essential coverage on short notice
