The Regional Banking Relationship Service Specialist provides first line service support for business banking lending and depository customers by managing the documentation (deposit) and servicing needs post sale. This role is responsible for providing first line customer service support for Business Banking Customers for several Relationship Managers. The specialist will handle the opening and ongoing maintenance of business depository accounts, including documentation execution with the customer. They will also manage Business Banking overdrafts (non-sufficient funds) for Customers owned by Relationship Managers and service post loan closing needs such as processing loan advances, loan payments or payoffs in accordance with Huntington policy. Additionally, the role involves researching and resolving problems regarding service activities and operational issues specific to deposit account and credit relationships, ensuring fraud processes are initiated and followed up on per Huntington Standards, and serving as a product liaison for all products Business customers utilize. The specialist is expected to suggest bank products and services when needed and connect customers to the appropriate colleague, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems, related technology, policies, and procedures. A focus on identifying, assessing, and managing risk, and adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgements is also required. The role includes participating in identifying issues of concern and keeping department management informed as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.
