As a Regional Banker/Teller, you will engage in proactive sales and customer service activities including teller transactions, selling bank products, and developing referral opportunities. You will be part of the Regional Resource Team. This position, within PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network, is based in San Isidro-Laredo, TX to support multiple branches in PNC's Laredo Retail Market. The role manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve a customer's financial wellbeing and create loyalty while increasing share of wallet. From a variety of customer interactions, the Regional Banker/Teller participates in proactive sales and service activities and identifies referral opportunities. They collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet and position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty. This includes driving proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions with a defined sales process including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting and effective lobby engagement, ultimately elevating client loyalty. The position delivers a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions, leverages ecosystem partnerships to acquire, expand and retain relationships, and creates customer loyalty and grows customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. Responsibilities also include performing lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs, educating customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources, and applying product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty. The role manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, and demonstrating a heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss. Finally, it ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner. PNC Employees are expected to be Customer Focused, knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations, and adept at Managing Risk by assessing and effectively managing all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities
