About The Position

The territory for this role will cover NE, KS, ND, SD. The specialist will recruit and recommend appointment of qualified agents for Farm and Ranch & Commercial Agribusiness. They will facilitate broker meetings and promote Chubb Agribusiness products and services, partnering with brokers and the underwriting team to obtain pertinent underwriting information and provide exceptional customer service. The role involves conducting territorial analysis to identify market share opportunities, implementing business plans based on objectives set forth with brokers, and conducting monthly broker meetings to assess progress. The specialist will establish effective working partnerships within the agribusiness group and the Chubb organization, potentially coordinating and speaking at Agricultural meetings. They will also work within Chubb Agribusiness to develop and implement approved advertising and marketing campaigns with key brokers and may work on projects for the assigned territory as necessary.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Extensive sales & marketing experience desired
  • General knowledge of property & casualty insurance
  • General knowledge of agribusiness property & casualty insurance a plus
  • General knowledge of underwriting rules pertaining to agribusiness
  • Ability to recruit and train agents.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well with people in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and maintain business relationships with customers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel when necessary- 50% of time
  • Effective presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and recommend appointment of qualified agents for Farm and Ranch & Commercial Agribusiness.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our brokers that promotes the partnership and growth.

  • Implement business plan based on objectives set forth with brokers and submits to Agri Business manager for approval.
  • Conduct monthly broker meetings to asses where they are to plan vs actual.
  • Establish effective working partnership within agribusiness group as well as within the Chubb organization.
  • Coordinate and speak at Agricultural meetings.
  • Develop and implement approved advertising and marketing campaigns with key brokers.
  • Work on projects for assigned territory as necessary.
