About The Position

The position is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share throughout the market, with a primary focus on slab products. The role develops customer relationships, identifies new business opportunities, supports the sales team, provides product and safety training, and partners with leadership to strengthen customer accounts and overall market performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
5+ years of progressive sales, business development, or account management experience, with demonstrated success growing revenue, gross margin, and market share.
Experience developing and executing sales strategies and managing high-value customer relationships.
Demonstrated experience analyzing sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned market
Advanced sales, business development, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of revenue, gross margin, pricing, forecasting, and territory performance.
Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and translate market opportunities into measurable results.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers, sales teams, and company leadership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, independent business decisions.
Ability to manage a complex sales pipeline, prioritize high-value opportunities, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, including the ability to effectively utilize HubSpot.
Ability to develop advanced product knowledge and effectively train others on product characteristics, applications, handling, fabrication, installation, and care.

Nice To Haves

7+ years of sales or business development experience, including experience within the natural stone, slab, quartz/mineral surfaces, porcelain, tile, flooring, or building materials industry.
Established knowledge of the slab and stone market, including fabricators, dealers, designers, architects, builders, contractors, and distributors.
Extensive knowledge of natural stone, porcelain, and mineral surface products, including fabrication, installation, handling, quality standards, and care.
Experience managing a large geographic territory or regional sales strategy.
Experience providing product, technical, or sales training to employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and gross margin targets and expand market share throughout the market.
Prospect for new customers and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and territory revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with fabricators, distributors, dealers, designers, architects, builders, contractors, and other key customers.
Develop long-term account strategies focused on customer retention, repeat business, and territory growth.
Partner with leadership to provide account assignment recommendations that improve customer service and strengthen existing partnerships.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and customer preferences.
Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, showroom visits, and sales meetings alongside the existing sales team.
Understand upcoming customer projects and specifications and convert opportunities into sales.
Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer service.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and territory updates.
Promote new arrivals and sales opportunities through HubSpot CRM.
Coordinate quarterly events at local facilities focused on customer relationships and increasing territory slab sales.
Promote and sell natural stone slabs, mineral surfaces, porcelain materials, and other applicable Bedrosians products.
Develop a strong understanding of the full Bedrosians product portfolio, including tile, engineered wood, vinyl, and laminate.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding inventory, slab availability, pricing, logistics, samples, and customer requirements.
Assist with slab gallery selections, placement, and layout.
Train employees on the identification, characteristics, handling, fabrication, installation, quality standards, and proper care of natural stone, porcelain, and mineral surface slabs.
Provide focused training to warehouse teams on proper and safe slab handling.
