Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in lighting (or similar ecosystem) sales, including leading or working directly for 3rd party manufacturing sales teams.
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive sales growth in your region.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers on financial targets by achieving revenue, margins, and sales productivity efficiency targets within the assigned geographical area.
  • Delivers on operational targets and key growth initiatives as defined by the Commercial Leader, ensuring timely execution and impact.
  • Coordinates with manufacturer representative to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships and sales with current and potential customers.
  • Grow revenue through lead generation directly and through agent teams.
  • Analyzes sales levels and trends through market research and initiates pro-active or corrective actions as required to assure attainment of objectives.
  • Interact with a wide variety of Signify customers (channel partners, contractors, integrators, and end-users) as well as our manufacturer’s representatives.
  • Assures that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.
  • Promotes and markets company strategy through customer interaction at industry groups including speaking at conventions and tradeshows.
  • Serve as “Voice of the Customer” by making recommendations and supplying feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure control products/systems meet and exceed customer expectations.
