About The Position

The Field Human Resources Leader is a vital member of the Human Resources team and will play a critical role in executing the People strategy for Profile’s US and non-US locations. This role will be embedded within the business and will serve as the key HR business partner to the Operations leadership team and Plant Managers. The Field HR Leader will foster Profile’s high-performance culture, and live and breathe our Company values. This role will be a strong voice on talent attraction, employee development, and performance. The Field Human Resources Leader will lead, manage, and develop a team of plant Human Resource professionals to influence the design and delivery of all HR programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, with 7+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment; or extensive proven work experience in a Field HR leader position.
  • Proven track record of strong multi-site leadership skills
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Solid comprehension of federal and state employment laws
  • Ability to work effectively independently as part of a team
  • Intermediate computer skills with a high proficiency in MS Suite of products
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret results to create effective solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • High stress tolerance in sometimes difficult situations
  • Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment; ability to meet deadlines and timing requirements
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted advisor to key manufacturing leaders within the organization by effectively coaching and supporting staff and managers.
  • Build the bridge with Operations leadership to ensure alignment on people issues at every level of the organization.
  • Consult on and ensure resolution of escalated employee relations concerns.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.
  • Monitor KPIs for HR and operations teams, track performance, and ensure achievement of targets.
  • Use workforce data and analytics to guide people decisions and measure business impact.
  • Ensure workplace issues are handled effectively and expediently in order to remove barriers to successful job performance and foster a positive work environment.
  • Partner with HR leadership to develop strategic company initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure flawless execution on goals.
  • Provide leadership to HR team.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor team to ensure talent pipeline.
  • Ensure site employee engagement programs are in place and monitored for effectiveness.
  • Build organizational capability through the recruitment of top talent, coaching leadership and implementing and enabling performance management and employee development programs.
  • Solicit employee insights through the use of employee feedback tools to guide business leaders, processes, and programs that drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Provide guidance on leaves of absences, including ADA accommodations.
  • Assist with unemployment claims and Worker’s Compensation claims to ensure timely and fiscally responsible resolution to claims.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures that comply with state and federal laws, reduce legal risk, and drive consistency.
  • Build programs and processes with scalability across multiple sites.
