The Region 4 Coalition Manager is part of the Growing Rural Opportunities for Well-being (GROW) Regional Grant Program within Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Health, the manager coordinates and drives collaboration among 24 grant-funded agencies in Region 4, a 12-county region in East Central Indiana. The role supports five initiatives: expanding community-based access to care; implementing a regional maternal health access model; transforming behavioral health and crisis response; strengthening emergency medical response and rural clinical readiness; and building a rural healthcare workforce pipeline. The manager works with Region 4 Coalition leadership and members to establish governance and oversight, coordinate participating organizations, and monitor outcomes with the Regional Grant Coordinator. The position is based at Ball State University in Muncie and involves frequent travel throughout the region, with some work potentially conducted virtually. The position is funded for the first year of the grant and may be extended if funding continues and program requirements and outcomes are achieved. Employment is contingent on continued grant funding.
