The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound using sophisticated equipment. These procedures are performed with limited supervision and assumes responsibility for standards regarding equipment operation and safety. The Ultrasound Technologist independently operates sonographic equipment and processes diagnostic images according to operation and safety procedures. They are responsible for accurate and consistent quality images using fixed or mobile equipment. We offer a range of minimally invasive outpatient vein treatments. Treatment is tailored to your symptoms, vein anatomy, and ultrasound findings, and may include: Radiofrequency ablation (RFA): uses heat to close refluxing veins, VenaSeal™: medical adhesive used to seal abnormal veins, Varithena®: ultrasound-guided foam used to treat diseased veins, Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy: targeted injection therapy for symptomatic veins, Micro-Stab (ambulatory) phlebectomy: removal of bulging varicose veins through small incisions.
