About The Position

Tyson Foods is looking for motivated team members to join our Refrigeration and Utilities Maintenance team in New London, WI. In this critical role, you will help maintain the essential systems that keep our facility running safely and efficiently. From refrigeration and steam generation to compressed air and water systems, you'll be part of a team that supports production, food safety, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 6 months of mechanical maintenance experience, OR Graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins when needed.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and utility equipment.
  • Maintain steam generation, compressed air, water distribution, condensate return, and related utility systems.
  • Install, inspect, and repair utility equipment using the proper tools and testing equipment.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and CMMS/SAP work orders accurately.
  • Support preventative maintenance initiatives to ensure reliable operation.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Follow all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
  • Respond to equipment issues and support emergency repairs when necessary.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
