Ridge Energy Savers is seeking an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both HVAC and commercial refrigeration equipment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial refrigeration experience required
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • EPA Certification required
  • Proficiency using HVAC and refrigeration diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Residential HVAC service experience preferred.
  • Additional refrigeration certifications are a plus.
  • NATE Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, and other refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC and refrigeration equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
  • Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC and refrigeration equipment and components as needed.
  • Test electrical circuits, controls, motors, compressors, and related components to verify proper operation.
  • Identify refrigerant leaks, perform refrigerant recovery and charging procedures, and ensure EPA compliance.
  • Provide clear and professional explanations of issues, recommended solutions, and maintenance best practices to customers.
  • Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and time spent on service calls.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, industry regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
