About The Position

This role involves performing refrigeration operations and preventative maintenance throughout the warehouse to support operational objectives. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical and electrical systems as needed, as well as providing general maintenance support to ensure equipment reliability and safety. Flexible shifts and on-call work may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC/R certification or technical degree required if experience is not met.
• Successful completion of assigned industrial refrigeration or mechanical-electrical courses required.
• HAZMAT training and certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a cold storage environment.
• Experience using testing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration equipment at the component level.
• Experience using Oracle Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Technical certification or degree preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Adaptability to flexible shifts including on-call assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform repairs and adjustments on refrigeration systems.
• Monitor system performance and identify operational issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance on warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective actions.
• Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instruments.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and ensure proper use.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and uphold housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
