About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician with proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial refrigeration systems. You must possess strong technical knowledge, a MA refrigeration license, and a commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations. We work mostly in wastewater plants, plants, and schools.

Requirements

MA Refrigeration license
3-5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration.
Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and walk-in cooler design standards.
Valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, and clean background.

Nice To Haves

Experience with energy-efficient systems and environmentally friendly refrigerants.
Knowledge of building codes and refrigeration regulations.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.

Responsibilities

Install/ service commercial refrigeration systems
Conduct site assessments and ensure proper placement, electrical connections, and insulation.
Configure control systems and verify operational efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance: clean coils, replace filters, inspect electrical components, and check refrigerant levels.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues.
Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system failures.
Adhere to OSHA, NSF/ANSI 7, and EPA Section 608 standards.
Handle refrigerants safely and legally, ensuring proper recovery, recycling, and disposal.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for regulatory compliance.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance, repairs, and energy efficiency.
Provide recommendations for upgrades or preventive maintenance.
