About The Position

Composition Brands, renowned leaders in premium refrigeration and ice products, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Refrigeration Repair Technician to support our growing manufacturing and service operations. This role is vital in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing refrigeration and ice products to ensure they meet our high standards of quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. As a Refrigeration Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence in product manufacturing and service. You will work closely with production, quality, and service teams to identify issues, perform repairs, and verify product functionality. Through your technical expertise and commitment to quality, you will help ensure our products operate efficiently and reliably while supporting continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization.

Requirements

High School Education (or GED) with 1 - 3 years consecutive experience in appliance repair.
Demonstrated ability to use and operate hand tools.
Demonstrated ability to read wiring diagrams.
Ability to stand on concrete surfaces for up to three hours without a break and twelve hours with breaks.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs refrigeration products that fail performance test and/or inspection.
Operates machinery or hand tools as required to complete assembly process.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
Maintains production records as required.
Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
