About The Position

This role manages complex, non-standard refrigeration and store fixture accessory orders across a large retail footprint. The position acts as the central coordinator between stores, engineering, vendors, and internal procurement to ensure accurate ordering, tracking, and fulfillment.

Requirements

Strong critical thinking and ability to interpret unclear requests
Experience in refrigerated retail, store merchandising, GNFR procurement, or similar industry
High attention to detail (quantities, specs, compatibility)
Excellent email communication & stakeholder management
Ability to manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously

Responsibilities

Complex Order Management: Process and manage non-catalog / exception-based orders (e.g., beverage glides, trays, mylar holders). Interpret incomplete or ambiguous store requests and translate into correct SKUs and quantities. Validate compatibility with specific equipment (e.g., Hussmann models, cooler configurations). Store visits as necessary.
Vendor Coordination: Work directly with multiple vendors to request quotes, expedite urgent shipments, confirm availability and specifications. Track shipments (freight, LTL, etc.) and communicate ETAs to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as liaison between store managers, engineering (refrigeration), and procurement/finance (PO processing).
Problem Solving & Exception Handling: Navigate situations where items are not in approved request forms, specs vary by store or equipment, or orders are urgent and time-sensitive. Proactively resolve gaps (e.g., create visual catalogs, team member and store manager training).
