Lar-Mex, a leading mechanical contracting firm in Ottawa, is looking for a licensed Refrigeration Mechanic with a G1 Gas Fitter certification to join our construction-focused team. In this role, you will work on commercial projects with no on-call duties.
Requirements
- Licensed Refrigeration Mechanic
- G1 Gas Fitter Certification
- Experience with VRF systems, boiler venting, and gas piping system design and installation
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Installing Refrigerant piping systems such as VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems for new construction
- Performing start-up and commissioning of gas heating equipment
- Designing and installing gas piping systems
- Installing and venting boilers according to safety and code requirements
- Maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to project timelines
- Coordinate TSSA inspections
