Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in various settings.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Heating and Ventilation Engineer [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters required
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including how they work, how to diagnose problems, and how to repair them.
Familiarity with refrigeration piping, valves, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in various settings, such as commercial buildings, factories, and homes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration systems.
Ensure that refrigeration systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
Install and maintain refrigeration piping, valves, and control systems.
Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain necessary documentation.
Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs in a timely manner.
