About The Position

This position is a starter position in the Refrigeration Department to perform cleaning/washing Ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC /MAUs units on the roof, change filters, clean roof area,etc and shadow Refrigeration Techs to be trained in the ammonia refrigeration system and will be considered for any future Refrigeration Tech positions open. Need to create Maintenance Notifications, work orders, and confirm time into the SAP system. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Able to work in hot/cold/wet environments
Pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs.
Climbing ladders above 10 feet
Walking and standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor
Work schedule is 6 days a week, be off during the week, and must be able to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled
Willing to work overtime as needed
Pass a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical and be recertified each year
Be clean shaven to get a proper fit while using APR/SCBA equipment
Complete Refrigeration and General Maintenance computer-based training
1 year maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years
Must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior
Must have completed at least 180 days since their last employment with Tyson
