About The Position

In this hands-on role, you’ll use your technical skills to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and complete repairs across a variety of systems. We’re especially interested in candidates with strong electrical and industrial maintenance experience. Experience with Freon refrigeration is helpful, and ammonia refrigeration knowledge is a plus.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, or a related technical field.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills; experience working with systems up to 480 volts is beneficial.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or facility equipment.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and work order documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the maintenance team.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to document work accurately.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
  • Comfort working at heights and performing roof work as part of regular job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial refrigeration experience, particularly Freon systems.
  • Ammonia or CO2 refrigeration knowledge.
  • Forklift or other material handling equipment maintenance.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics or Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Refrigeration Operator I, CARO, or equivalent training. Candidates who do not yet have this qualification may have the opportunity to complete it after hire.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, wiring, and electronic components, including equipment operating at various voltages.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to help keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
  • Maintain and repair industrial refrigeration systems, including Freon systems; ammonia or CO2 experience is beneficial.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair material handling equipment, machinery, and building infrastructure.
  • Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Conduct equipment inspections, identify potential issues, and communicate findings and repair needs to leadership.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, electrical codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work with contractors as needed to support safe maintenance and repair activities.
  • Perform work at elevated heights, including roof work, while following required safety procedures.
