About The Position

This position may be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. This includes directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance and refrigeration personnel, administering the PSM program, and working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical problems regarding equipment, maintaining relevant records, and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented. Additionally, the supervisor will instruct in the use of personal protective equipment, implement new ways of improving ergonomics, coordinate team member schedules, handle clocking reports and attendance records, and hold monthly safety meetings. The position also includes performing all other responsibilities as assigned in refrigeration maintenance.

Requirements

  • Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 plus years experience in refrigeration with supervisory/lead experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office suites
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities
  • Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year
