About The Position

Air Controls is seeking an apprentice-level Refrigeration Installation Technician to learn to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems and related components. Systems include supermarket, grocery store, and small commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins and ice machines; self-contained refrigeration units; and DDC controls, including Danfoss and Emerson CPC. The service area is primarily within a 150-mile radius of Billings, Montana.

The role may offer opportunities to expand knowledge into commercial HVAC equipment, including AHUs, RTUs, and MAUs; residential HVAC; water-source heat pumps; cooling towers and boilers; and kitchen cooking equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Strong communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.

• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset and self-motivation.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
