About The Position

This role involves performing calculations and designing basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence. The engineer will prepare electrical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics, and review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications. Responsibilities include researching and recommending the feasibility of systems or equipment, evaluating products for their application, and assisting with developing and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers. Continuous learning of industry software such as Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Products is expected. The role may also involve project coordination activities like managing emails, coordinating scope and schedule, attending client meetings, ensuring project quality, responding to client questions, and coordinating project delivery. Additionally, the engineer will act as a resource for training or assisting others.

Requirements

• Mid-Level: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering preferred and 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience without degree required.
• Experienced Level: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering preferred and 7 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of experience without degree required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu (for Mid-Level).
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu (for Experienced Level).

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineering (PE) license may be counted toward 1 year of direct experience.
• At least 1 year of previous exposure to mechanical/HVAC and refrigeration design capability in commercial project design, retail, or related markets.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Completion of FE exam, LEED and/or WELL accreditation.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides, and standards required.

• May support or be responsible for project coordination activities such as managing emails, coordinating scope and schedule, attending client meetings, ensuring project quality, responding to client questions, and coordinating project delivery.
• Acts as a resource for training or assisting others as needed.
