Para la Naturaleza is a leading nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of Puerto Rico’s natural resources. Through science, community engagement, education, and volunteerism, we are working to protect and restore the Island’s ecosystems for future generations. We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and mission-driven Reforestation and Volunteers Officer to join our team based in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. The Reforestation and Volunteers Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading reforestation initiatives that support the organization’s conservation and restoration goals throughout Puerto Rico. This role works closely with volunteers, communities, schools, corporations, and partner organizations to implement impactful tree-planting and environmental stewardship activities. The selected candidate will coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts, oversee event logistics, maintain strategic partnerships, and support data collection and reporting related to reforestation projects. This position combines fieldwork, environmental education, volunteer engagement, and conservation science. Availability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, weekends, holidays, and travel within and outside Puerto Rico is required.
