About The Position

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely data entry of referral requests into the appropriate portal. This position is also responsible for follow-up on all specialty referrals. This position is an integral part of the care team, working as a liaison between the patient, provider, and Medical Management to ensure timely access to specialty care.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely data entry of referral requests into the appropriate portal.
• Follow-up on all specialty referrals.
• Act as a liaison between the patient, provider, and Medical Management to ensure timely access to specialty care.
