Referral Specialist
About The Position
The Referral Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service. Other job duties of the Referral Specialist include, but is not limited to, scheduling procedures and referrals with physicians and ancillary services as indicated, verifying insurance and demographic information as needed for obtaining referrals and pre-certifications; obtaining and tracking all referrals for outgoing and incoming appointments; obtaining all pre-certifications; communicating with outside offices regarding needed notes and orders; notifying patients of scheduled referral appointments and procedures. The Referral Specialist is responsible for maintaining HIPAA and OSHA Compliance.
