About The Position
The Referral Coordinator will provide support to all Methodist Medical Group (MMG) clinics, referral department management, staff and ongoing referral network development strategies. The Referral Coordinator will serve as a reserve point of contact into the Methodist Medical Group clinics as it relates to incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and follow up calls related to coordination of care. This position will serve as a liaison between the referral departments, MMG clinical practices, and associated medical neighborhood.
Requirements
- High School Graduation or GED
- 5 or more years of professional medical experience in a practice setting
- Strong EMR/HER and Microsoft Office experience
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree or higher
- Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
