About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves preparing laboratory specimens for various analyses and testing, researching and resolving customer and specimen problems, sending test requests to the proper location, and releasing test results. The clerk will also assist clients with specimen-related requests, process specimens for external facilities, and provide support to different laboratory areas. Key tasks include sample sorting, racking, retrieving, and maintaining record logs efficiently. A clean and safe work environment is essential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory experience
