About The Position

The successful candidate will provide reference service to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Other professional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Library Science or equivalent from ALA accredited Library school is required
• 2 years public service experience (in any field)
• Reference experience in a library, preferably in an academic environment.
• Strong Communication, research, and public service skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Fluent with print and online library services
• Experience providing general reference in a library
• Experience with face-to-face and virtual reference modalities
• Experience at a community college
