About The Position

The Clinical Program Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical oversight, direct care services, and program coordination for justice-involved adults with mental health and substance use needs. The Clinical Program Coordinator collaborates extensively with program leadership, navigation personnel, and key stakeholders from court, correctional, and community settings to facilitate comprehensive, high-quality, person-centered care that promotes effective community reintegration. This position includes a mix of remote-based work, community outreach, and collaboration within court and correctional settings across service areas. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the program and correctional partners, while prioritizing the individuals, families, and communities served by reentry programming. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required
  • Independent clinical licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LADC I) or license-eligible
  • Experience working with justice-involved adults and other system-impacted individuals with behavioral health needs
  • Strong clinical assessment, engagement, and crisis management skills
  • Understanding of multiple pathways to recovery and wellness, including harm reduction principles
  • Strong knowledge of community-based resources, wraparound supports, SUD treatment continuum, and service coordination
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership experience in addiction recovery or reentry services
  • Ability to support Reentry Navigators in managing complex cases, developing professional boundaries, and delivering member-centered services

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance for individuals served through Reentry Services, including BH-JI, CSP-JI, and Women and Nonbinary Reentry programs
  • Support Reentry Navigators and Clinical Supervisors in managing individuals with complex mental health and substance use needs
  • Deliver short-term, transitional counseling and provide court-referred clinical services as needed
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop treatment recommendations for individuals referred by probation and justice system partners
  • Facilitate groups for program participants and collaborate across service lines to assist in the co-facilitation of agency-wide trainings
  • Ensure services are trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and aligned with Advocates’ mission and best practices
  • Participate in multidisciplinary leadership meetings with program leadership and clinical teams
  • Assist with staff onboarding, training, mentorship, and ongoing support for Reentry Navigators and non-clinical staff
  • Promote a collaborative, team-based approach to care coordination and service delivery
  • Partner with leadership to triage referrals and ensure appropriate assignment within the navigation team
  • Coordinate care across behavioral health, housing, medical, peer, and community-based wraparound supports
  • Support program operations, including documentation, quality assurance, billing, reporting, and data tracking
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and special projects
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, state, and contractual requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with courts, probation, correctional facilities, and community partners
  • Participate in outreach efforts to expand program awareness and access
  • Provide responsive, professional support to internal and external stakeholders
