The Pennsylvania Innocence Project is seeking a highly organized and self-driven Reentry Social Worker to join its team. The Social Worker will work with, and be supervised by, the Executive Director and the Legal Director. The Social Worker is primarily responsible for the reentry needs of people who are wrongly convicted across Pennsylvania who have been released from prison. This includes conducting needs assessments, providing individualized case management, further developing the reentry services program, facilitating a bi-weekly support group, supporting incarcerated clients, and supporting the legal team in mitigation work. Strong writing skills and the ability to work independently are a must. The Social Worker will also supervise one or two MSW interns per year. Some travel and evening and weekend work is required. The Social Worker will be based in the Philadelphia office but will support clients throughout Pennsylvania.
