About The Position

Join Dura-Line, an Orbia business, a premier manufacturer of plastic conduit pipes that create pathways connecting people and information worldwide. The company monitors its manufacturing process with environmentally friendly sustainable efforts in mind, prioritizing quality, sustainability, and safety. The Reel Builder is an entry-level position in the Offline department, responsible for utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets customer specifications and to catch basic abnormalities. The primary responsibility is making the reel in an even and neat manner while maintaining quality control.

Responsibilities

Review the production schedule determine the reels required to maintain production on the shift.
Paints and stencils any returned wood reels that do not meet appearance requirements.
Builds/Assembles any reels not available from the return reel inventory required to maintain production.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
Follows all safety requirements for the position and all company safety guidelines.
Completes appropriate paperwork to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
