Mission:
Support the North America Reels and Packaging team by developing reel and packaging drawings and applying the approved branding provided by the Marketing and Communications department. The co-op will help translate the NA Reels and Packaging Branding Book into clear, accurate and practical visual applications for different reel and packaging types.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Ability to create clear 2D drawings, layouts and mockups for different reel shapes, sizes and packaging formats.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, CAD software or comparable design tools.
• Ability to accurately follow established branding guidelines and apply approved visual elements to technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail, organization and file-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams or SharePoint.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with 3D modeling or rendering software for visualizing reels and packaging.
• Experience developing product, packaging or industrial drawings.
• Interest in manufacturing, industrial products and sustainable packaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop Reel and Packaging Drawings: Create and update 2D drawings and visual mockups for wooden reels, steel reels and other packaging formats.
• Apply Approved Branding: Place approved logos, colors, graphics and other brand elements on reel and packaging drawings in accordance with the NA Reels and Packaging Branding Book and guidelines provided by Marketing and Communications.
• Revise and Organize Files: Update drawings based on team feedback and maintain organized, current versions of drawings, mockups and related project files.
• Support Implementation: Assist the Reels and Packaging team with visual materials needed to communicate approved branding applications to plants and suppliers.
