About The Position
Experienced Reefer Technician Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Carrier and Thermo King Reefers and auxiliary power units (APUs) Perform diesel engine preventative maintenance, fuel system diagnostics, cooling system diagnostics and mechanical coupling devices Willingness to work both as a mobile and in shop technician Positive interface with service writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors and customers Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion Work safely and follow company safety standards Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor We have created a great place to work! Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing Carrier or Thermo King transport refrigeration units
- 608/609 EPA Certification
- Must have your own set of general tools
- Able to read electric & refrigeration schematic
- Take night and weekend call out in rotation with other technicians
- Able to lift and work with no restrictions in a shop or mobile environment
- Must have a current driver’s license
Responsibilities
