Bottle and Can Retrieval Centers is recruiting for a Part Time Redemption Center Worker at our Newark, NY Location. This role involves assisting customers with their recyclable beverage containers, counting them manually or using technology, and operating a cash register to complete transactions. Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Weekend Availability
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Experience in customer service field
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with recycling of bottles, cans and plastic beverage containers.
- Process and store bottles and cans in an orderly fashion.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment around all work areas.
- Count beverage containers manually or use technology.
- Use a cash register to complete customer transactions.
