About The Position
Bottle and Can Retrieval Centers is recruiting for a Part Time Redemption Center Associate at our Batavia, NY Location. This role is responsible for assisting customers with their recyclable beverage containers, which may involve manual counting or using technology. The associate will also operate a cash register to complete customer transactions.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Weekend Availability
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Experience in customer service field
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with recycling of bottles, cans and plastic beverage containers.
- Process and store bottles and cans in an orderly fashion.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment around all work areas.
