Red Team Operations Lead
About The Position
Operate as a Red Team Operations Lead conducting advanced adversary emulation operations against real-world targets in varying environments and active network defenders. Lead a small team through the design, development, and decision-making involved in executing Red Team operations. Ensure operations meet objectives within designated timelines, communicate status to leadership regularly, and develop comprehensive, accurate reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences. Ensure post-operations technical reports and support activities are completed on time. Develop scenarios and artifacts that mimic real-world adversary groups for simulated testing. Improve team tradecraft, techniques, tactics, procedures, infrastructure, and tooling. Provide support and mentorship to other Red Team operators.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, or tool development.
- Hands-on-keyboard experience during multiple Red Team engagements, including planning and leading engagements.
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) evasion in a Multifactor Authentication (MFA) environment.
- Experience with common penetration testing and Red Team tools, such as Mythic, Cobalt Strike, or Sliver.
- Experience with command-and-control channel frameworks, offensive infrastructure deployment, cloud technologies, malware reverse engineering, data obfuscation or encryption, Active Directory exploitation, and authentication technologies.
- Experience implementing OPSEC infrastructure, including Docker, redirectors, or mail servers, and developing exploits in Windows or Linux environments.
- Ability to explain tools and techniques used in Red Team methodology, including reconnaissance, exploitation, persistence, lateral movement, post-exploitation, and exfiltration.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with wireless and radio frequency technologies, including Bluetooth or 802.11.
- Experience scripting, editing existing code, and programming in C#, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience rapidly developing offensive-focused tooling and tradecraft.
- Experience with phishing and other social engineering tactics.
- Experience with assembly languages, including x86, or reverse engineering.
