About The Position

We are seeking a Red Hat OpenShift Engineer skilled in container orchestration, platform management, and cloud-native applications, with hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on OpenShift clusters. The role involves deploying, managing, and scaling Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, configuring, managing, and monitoring containerized applications, and automating cluster provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipelines. Integration with CI/CD tools and troubleshooting containerized applications are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of U.S. residency as a Permanent Resident Alien (if applicable)
  • IRS (government agency) MBI full scope clearance to start
  • 5+ years managing and administering OpenShift clusters
  • 4+ years proficiency in scripting languages (KSH, Bash, Python)
  • 4+ years working in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) & CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven)
  • 4 years of networking in containerized environments, load balancing, network policies and ingress/egress traffic
  • 5+ years of I.T. problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems

  • Red Hat OpenShift certification or Kubernetes certification

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters
  • Configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Automate cluster provisioning, configuration and deployment pipelines using tools like Ansible, Teraform, Helm
  • Integrate Kubernetes/OpenShift with CICD deployment tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub
  • Document and troubleshoot issues with containerized applications
