Position Overview We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Recycling Sorter to join Team Green. In this role, you will be responsible for manually separating recyclable materials on a sortation line while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Note: This is a safety sensitive role and must be able to pass background and drug test.

Requirements

  • Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing throughout the shift.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

  • Manually sort recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, cardboard) as directed by line leads based on designated sorting positions.
  • Maintain proper hand speeds to efficiently pick and separate high volumes of recyclable materials.
  • Strictly adhere to company written safety guidelines and complete all required Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Keep personal workspace clear of trip and fall hazards; assist with daily warehouse cleaning and maintenance.
  • Move to different areas of the sortation system as directed by supervisors and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
