The Recycling Materials Handler is responsible for the branch’s recycling efforts of returned PET, aluminum, cardboard, and paper products and all recyclable material that aligns with the company’s strategic goals. This is a physical position, requiring repetitive movement with lifting/pulling of up to 55 lbs. Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury. Standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The ability to climb stairs will also be needed. The typical work days will be Monday-Friday. Although minimal, some evening and weekend work may be required.
