Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related work experience in basic grounds maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license, and good driving record (Driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification).
Ability to lift up to sixty (60) pounds.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions for the majority of the workday.
Must be available to respond to County emergencies as directed in accordance with Department policy and written or verbal directive.

Responsibilities

Site cleanup, litter and junk removal, and general site maintenance.
Perform small repairs to dumpsters, fencing, and signage, and enter work orders.
Surveillance system monitoring, reporting, and transport of surveillance trailer.
Provide customer service to the public, provide guidance on recycling and waste management.
Paint bulking, battery packaging.
Performs snow removal operations as directed, including snow clearing/shoveling.
Operate forklift, full-size pickup to haul trailers, snowplow.
