About The Position

The Recycling Logistics Manager manages and optimizes the movement of goods, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries. Coordinates activities in shipping, warehousing, and inventory, acting as a bridge between suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

Requirements

• Familiarity with the entire supply chain process, from sourcing to delivery.
• Familiarity with ERP and TMS systems.
• Computer literate (TMW, ADP, MS Office including Word and Excel as well as accounting software)
• Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve logistical challenges.
• Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
• Accuracy in managing shipments and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and tracking shipments, ensuring accuracy of shipping documents, and managing relationships with carriers.
• Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand.
• Planning and executing transportation strategies, optimizing routes, and negotiating shipping rates.
• Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and customers to address logistical needs and resolve issues.
• Overseeing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Analyzing shipment data, identifying inefficiencies, and preparing reports on key performance indicators.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, such as DOT and IATA, regarding transportation and shipping.
