About The Position
Processes and organizes incoming recyclable materials at the city's sanitation and recycling facility. Key duties include working the manual sorting line to separate daily materials, safely operating heavy-duty cardboard balers, identifying and removing non-recyclable contaminants from the line, and keeping the processing area clean. The role will also involve operating forklifts, loaders, and recycle balers.
